The Hancock Historical Museum is a privately funded, non-profit history museum founded in 1970 by 5 local civic leaders: Harold Corbin, Jack Harrington, Ed Heminger, Jim Brucklacher, & Joe Opperman. These 5 men had the foresight to create a place to preserve and share our local history. Over the years, the museum’s role in the community has grown significantly, and the museum’s campus has extended to include 9 buildings!
